How is Nebo Medical Centre and Awal Medical Centre connected?

Awal Medical Centre is the main branch of Nebo Medical Centre and is the main base of operations when Nebo Medical Centre is physically closed.

Can I have my commercial medical done at Nebo Medical Centre?

We currently do not do commercial medicals at Nebo Medical Centre as we do not offer audiometry services. This can be done at Awal Medical Centre. Standard Drivers Medicals can be done.

Do you do procedures at Nebo Medical?

Yes, minor procedures such as removal of skin lesions, foreign body and biopsies are available. This will incur an out of pocket fee, please ask your GP on the exact pricing as this depends on complexity of procedure and time involved.

Can my records be accessed from Awal Medical Centre?

While working in tandem, Nebo Medical Centre and Awal Medical Centre are different clinics and records are kept separately and do not merge. Please be mindful of this when booking for scripts and referrals etc.

Can I have my vaccination at Nebo Medical Centre?

Vaccinations, including travel and baby immunisations can be done at Nebo Medical Centre. Please ensure this is booked ahead time, we keep limited stock at Nebo Medical Centre and may need to bring extra vaccinations on the day.

Call (07) 4956 1718 and let staff know you wish to book for a Nebo Vaccination, if you aren't sure which one you need, please ask to speak to a nurse.

What is your new patient procedure?

Nebo Medical Centre accepts new patients. We ask that you book a long appointment and to bring along any additional documentation regarding your health, including your medications/ medication summary.

What other procedures are available at Nebo Medical Centre?

ECG and spirometry are available at no out of pocket fee per the doctors request.

Ear Syringing is available - please note there is an out of pocket fee.

INR testing is available for a fee for patients of Nebo Medical Centre only.

Blood testing is available for patients of Nebo Medical Centre only.

Venipuncture is available for patients of Nebo Medical Centre only - please note there is an out of pocket fee.

Urine drug testing is available for a private fee. This is strictly per prior appointment only (no on day bookings will be accepted).
